We want to partner with you and serve as a resource after your discharge from the hospital. Our goal is for people with diabetes to be able to have a higher quality of life and an increased level of self confidence by giving them the tools to manage their diabetes. Your Diabetes Team is available to answer questions and we encourage you to use one of the methods mentioned below for questions that are not of an emergency nature.

Please do not stop your medications or change your treatment without consulting your doctor.

Phone call

Please call (863)-207-4254 Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 8AM until 3PM. We will return your call during these times. Voice mails left after 3PM on Friday will be returned on the next working day between the hours of 8AM and 3PM. Voice mails will not be returned on holidays and will be answered on the next working day between 8AM and 3PM.

To schedule Diabetes education classes in our Outpatient Diabetes Center

After your discharge from the hospital you may obtain information about our classes or schedule your attendance to a diabetes class by calling Winter Haven Hospital Education Services, 297-1706.
